The perfect marriage.

So these days marriage has become something so far from what it used to be. Its all about how flashy everything can be. The dress, the flowers, the decorations. All of it . I sit here on pinterest and look at all the “perfect wedding” pins. Yes they are beautiful, but it isn’t all about the extras. Its about the union of the two people that love each other. Two people that were made for each other . Someone god put into your life for a reason. Someone that will love you unconditionally and be there for you every step of the way in your life. Once you have that person, your life is complete. This person can make the worst days so much better. I cant wait for the day when i meet this person. I dream of that person and of all the things our life will hold. I know that this person exists. I have no doubt in my mind. You may not find them when you want to, but god will bring this person into your life when he feels it is the best time. You have to trust in him . As hard as the wait will be, it will be SO worth the wait.<3

Initiation Day! <3

Today i had my initiaion for ALPHA GAMMA DELTA. I have wanted to be in sorority for so long and now i am . I have met some of the most amazing girls these last two months and i can’t imagine my life without them. Its so surreal to say that i am now a sister . It was so nerve racking waiting for the ceremony but it was great. I feel so priviledged to be trusted with the traditions that have been passed down for so many years. I didnt just have initiation today; i gained 200 sisters. i cant wait for the memories that will be made and for the friendships to come.

So what - its a Saturday night in Athens . Does that mean I have to be at a party ? Nope :) I’m having an amazing time watching my favorite movie with my best friends . Life is good and I’m so blessed to have what I have !

there’s just something about a boy who owns colored pants, bowties, sperrys, seersucker, anything polo, southern tide, or vineyard vines, one who opens the door, says yes sir and yes ma’am, treats his mom and/or sisters right, and treats you like the southern belle you deserve to be treated like. <3

White water rafting with my alpha gam girls !

So we had our first sisterhood retreat and it was AMAZING ! We went white water rafting in the north carolina mountains. These girls are so awesome. That sounds so cheesy but it’s true . I already feel like I fit in . I’m so glad that the Greek system works :) I can’t wait for more memories to come !
